This chocolate pineapple takes a little bit of time to prepare, but it is sure to be a big hit at your Hawaiian Luau party! Follow the steps below to create your own ferrero rocher pineapple.
How to make a ferrero rocher pineapple – Step One – Gather Your Materials

I used an empty wine bottle, although I have seen these made with a full wine bottle as a hostess gift. I used 2 large boxes of ferrero rocher chocolates. (There may have been a few leftovers but I wasn’t complaining!) I also needed green and yellow tissue paper, scissors, sticky tape and a hot glue gun.
Step Two – Prepare the bottle

Use the yellow tissue paper to completely wrap the bottle and sticky tape it in place.
Step Three – Tissue paper squares

Next cut the yellow tissue paper into squares. I didn’t remember to measure these, but a square approximately 8cm x 8cm should be fine.
Step Four – The Chocolates

Start by carefully removing the dark brown paper cases from each chocolate. If the gold foil wrapper pulls away from the chocolate just push it back in place making sure the chocolate is completely covered. My daughter used the brown paper wrappers to make coconuts for our palm tree.
Then use a small dab of hot glue on the base of the wrapped chocolate and stick it inside a square of yellow tissue paper.
Step Five – Assemble the pineapple

Start at the base of the bottle and begin hot gluing each wrapped chocolate to the bottle. Try to have each chocolate touching the one before so there are no gaps. Slowly work your way around the bottle, and hold each chocolate in place for a few seconds to give the glue time to set. I only had a couple of chocolates fall away and I could easily re-glue them in place. I found that each layer tended to rest on the layer below.
How to make a ferrero rocher pineapple – Step Six – The Stem

Use the green tissue paper to wrap around the stem of the bottle. Hold it in place with sticky tape.

Then cut out some triangles from the green tissue paper to use as the leaves. Tape these on to the stem of the bottle. Let some of the triangles point upwards, and have some of them fall outwards from the bottle so they look like a spiky pineapple.
And that completes your pineapple! Not only will it look great on your dessert table, but your guests will love pulling off the chocolates when its time for the sweets.
